Nexus, a social enterprise, was founded by Jos Mulder and Don Gerritsen in 2026, with the shared vision that every organisation, businesses and non-profit organisations alike, has the potential to further improve its real world impact. Nexus’ purpose is to help organisations define and realise their full positive impact potential — connecting businesses and non-profits along the way.

About the founders
Don Gerritsen
Co-founder & Partner
Don Gerritsen brings over fifteen years of experience in impact, sustainable finance and strategy at organisations including Deloitte, the United Nations, KPMG and the PRI.
He enjoys finding common ground to make progress together, and as such, has enabled businesses, governments and non-profit organisations around the world create value and increase positive real-world impact.
Don is a board member and volunteer in various organisations, including Pay it Forward, a pro bono mentoring organisation. He is the author of the book ‘Guidance to Inspirational Leadership’. He holds MBA and MSc. degrees in corporate strategy and public administration.
Jos Mulder
Co-founder & Partner
Jos Mulder combines over a decade of experience as a strategy consultant and (interim) manager, with a strong focus on positive impact, sustainability and corporate volunteering.
He understands how businesses and non-profit organisations work, from start-ups and pioneering volunteers to multinational networks and organisations, and is able to engage all levels of an organisation to turn ambitions into execution.
Jos believes impact only counts once it becomes tangible in the real world — when people's lives improve, nature visibly flourishes, and those who make an impact have true transformative experiences.
